Personal gospel outreach with backpacks of essentials for people who are homeless, near shelters, or simply need prayer and practical help.
Why
I have deep compassion for people because I know what Christ rescued me from. The thought of anyone being separated from God breaks my heart. In Christ, I have found the cure for spiritual death and the only lasting peace, joy, and forgiveness I have ever known. I want to share Him with others because He is the way, the truth, and the life.
Where I go
The New River Valley, Virginia. Including Roanoke mostly, Blacksburg, Christiansburg, Pulaski, and Dublin.

Why I go
Because Jesus Christ saved my life.
I was lost, but by His mercy I have been found, and He has made me new. He softened my heart, taught me to forgive, strengthened my faith, and stayed near when I was at my lowest, even when I did not want Him.
His grace is greater than my sin, His mercy is greater than this broken world, and He kept drawing me back. I pray this outreach reaches even one person who is seeking the peace, forgiveness, and new life that only Christ can give.
You are deeply known, fiercely loved, and never out of His sight. Every tear is noticed by God, and your name is engraved on the palms of His hands. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16. Amen.
The mission

Christian Backpack Outreach is a personal ministry effort. I go into the city, often around places where people are homeless or near shelters, to talk with people, share Jesus, pray with anyone who wants prayer, and hand out backpacks filled with basic essentials.
Current supply needs
Help keep the backpack stocked with essentials for people in need.
Food and warmth
Protein bars, gloves, hand warmers, and seasonal items that help with immediate needs.
Faith resources
Small Bibles, gospel tracts, and supplies for conversations, prayer, and encouragement.
Support the outreach
Buy supplies or help cover supply costs.
Donations and wishlist items help buy backpacks, supplies, and faith resources for personal outreach. If you cannot give, sharing the page or praying for the outreach helps too.
This is personal outreach, not a registered nonprofit or official charity. Donations are not being presented as tax-deductible. Any support goes toward outreach supplies.
